Lensern’s business started with PVC encapsulation, and through various agents, supplied to hardware and timber companies, including to those in Australia. However, this initial strategy did not work well as the global financial crisis happened.
Not ready to give up, they then moved on to providing one-stop fencing manufacturing. Their services range from manufacturing and supplying materials to project consultation and installation that included fencing and metal work.
Lensern’s projects are 40% one-stop services and 60% trading and supplying. Their materials are supplied to the whole of Malaysia, including Sabah and Sarawak, and some of the countries in South East Asia including Singapore, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Japan. Their target market and clients include developers, the government, residential areas, metal factories, trading houses, hardware companies, timber companies, and end users.

She has more than 30 years of experience in the welded mesh industry. She started a humble career as am admin clerk, store keeper and sales admin in her former company. With her vast experience in fencing manufacturing industry. Lensern is founded by her and and joining with Tan and Bay. She is responsible for administrative and finance matter.
Bay has started his welded mesh career for over 30 years as well. Same with Term, he started as a storekeeper and production manager in this industry with his former company. He has joined Term and tan started Lensern since 2005. He’s taking in charge of production and purchasing matter in the company
Tan has more than 35 years experiences in machinery and its technical field. He’s the specialist in terms of the machinery, therefore has assisted Lensern to build and recondition the production machine since Lensern started its operation.
He was in the banking industry for few years. Joined in Lensern on 2019 and taking in charge of the sales team and purchasing.
Tan, together with Term and Bay, officially established Lensern in a corner lot at Jalan Budi 9. It was a lightweight industry factory that spanned 10,000 sq ft and specialised in the manufacturing of PVC wire and steel wire products. At its infancy in the industry, Lensern had seven employees and two machines to kick-start its business.
In just two years, the factory was expanded with an additional 10,000 sq ft and a new machine was even brought in to keep up with the company’s growing business.
